Why CaesarstoneStep-by-Step Care
Everyday Cleaning
Firstly, wipe away any residue.
Simply spray and wipe your surface clean using a Spray Cleaner (or warm soapy water) and a clean, damp cloth
Once finished, buff with a clean, dry cloth.
Stubborn Stains
Drench the 3M™ Foam Scrub with warm water.
Apply 1-2 teaspoons of Caesarstone® Cream Cleanser directly to the foaming scrub, on the scrubber side. Gently squeeze to create a thick foam lather.
Gently clean in a circular motion, using a flat, open hand. Be cautious not to apply excessive pressure or rub in one spot for too long.
Leave the lathered soap mix on the surface for up to two minutes.
Remove all excess suds, rinsing the surface with warm water and a microfibre cloth or soft, clean towel.
Rinse and repeat several times to ensure all excess suds are removed.
Dried Spills
Dried spills and stains should be reanimated with water for several minutes before attempting recommended cleaning methods. Apply the Caesarstone® Spray cleaner in a circular motion.
Clean the surface with a damp cloth or paper towel.
Rust & Metal Marks
Place a small amount of K2r Rust and Deodorant Stain Remover or oxalic acid on a damp cloth. Do not use an abrasive scourer.
Wipe away very gently, in a circular motion.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid damaging the surface.
Honed, Natural, Concrete and Rough surfaces may require additional daily and weekly care. Due to the nature of the surface design, we recommended that everyday household spills like liquid droplets and rings are cleaned and dried immediately. As with any matte product, owners of Concrete and Rough Concrete finishes may see increased smudges from everyday living. To fully appreciate the texture and appearance of each surface finish, we highly recommend taking the time to view full surface designs at our Caesarstone showroom.
Top Care and Maintenance FAQ
Can I stand on my Caesarstone® benchtop?
Always refrain from placing excessive weight on your Caesarstone® benchtop. Excessive weight can also have an impact on the underlying cabinet structure.
Can Caesarstone Mineral™ surfaces withstand heat?
Caesarstone Mineral™ is heat resistant, however like all stone materials, Caesarstone® can be damaged by sudden and rapid surface temperature changes. A good rule of thumb is that if your hand cannot tolerate the level of heat for more than a few seconds then the heat source is too high.
Do not put hot cookware directly on the Caesarstone Mineral™ surface.
Therefore, we always recommend placing hot pots, oven trays and fry pans directly from the oven or hot plate onto a wooden chopping board or heat trivet. We also recommend that electric fry pans, slow cookers and air fryers are also used on a wooden chopping board.
Do I need to apply a sealer to Caesarstone® mineral surfaces?
No. Caesarstone® mineral surfaces are virtually non-porous, and you will never have to use a sealer or any other kind of wax.
How durable is Caesarstone®?
Caesarstone® is resistant to all kinds of cracks, chips, scratches, and stains. However, like most materials, excessive force, high point loads, pressure or heat may cause damage to the surface. Like all surface materials, Caesarstone® should be treated with care.
Can I cut on my Caesarstone® mineral benchtop?
Caesarstone® mineral surfaces are highly durable, we recommend using a cutting board to prevent damage to the surface or knives.
