Caesarstone
Working together with husband Daniel and architect Jonathan Grove, Emma has carefully planned every inch of this fantastic home. As a result, the impressive open-plan kitchen has everything the couple wants and needs.

With an eye for detail, Emma keeps to a classic design. In effect, Emma ensures the timeless vein of the Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo™ becomes the living space hero. Thus, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
As Emma says, “You can’t go past an all-white kitchen highlighted by the beautiful and timeless Calacatta Nuvo Caesarstone”. Of course, we agree.
Complementing their modern design look and feel, the Calacatta Nuvo™ benchtops and splashback work effortlessly with their white cabinetry, white walls, and natural oak engineered floors.
At the same time, Emma uses the colour palette of the Caesarstone to style her home. “I love bringing in colour through design pieces, artwork and furniture. The stone makes the perfect canvas for me to then layer our pieces with.”
For the centre of the back benchtop, Emma opts for a slim Fisher & Paykel induction cooktop. While on the island bench, Emma has a double sink, dishwasher and space for seating.
Although Emma and Daniel had to forgo a walk-in Butler’s Pantry due to space, they found the ideal solution. Using hidden cabinets that reach from the floor to the ceiling, the couple keeps the items they need in the kitchen out of sight but within easy reach.
Above the kitchen island bench, is a custom-made brass pendant light by Richmond Lighting. The pendant, a happy outcome of not getting their intended fittings due to Covid 19 affecting availability.
Installing Velux skylights was a masterstroke for the living space. In fact, the skylights capture all the natural light intensifying the relaxed feel of the living space.
In spite of 2020’s building challenges, Emma and Daniel kept their build going with Marwan and the Amazing Homes team. The couple happy to move in just before the second Melbourne lockdown in May that year.
Having lived in their home for a while, Emma says, “We’re so thrilled with the result and wouldn’t change a thing. We know this home will be adorned with memories for years to come”.
“I would recommend popping into one of the Caesarstone showrooms to see the slabs in full so that you can see the detail and the beauty. Take your cabinetry and paint samples along with you and see how it all goes together”.
“When it comes to designing your kitchen, think about function above all else; you’ll thank yourself in years to come”.
